Aquilegia-3668 – is part of the collection I began in 2012 of images of wild or cultivated plants I’ve worked with, often from my own nature/insect friendly garden or within my immediate local area in and around Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire in beautiful, wild West Wales where I live and work. These images are driven by my desire to capture a transient moment of fragile beauty and I’ve experimented with different approaches; some photographing the subject in situ, others in a studio setting with various backgrounds and lighting. I would love your feedback on which ones appeal to you. It’s my belief that we can all construct gardens that delight our senses whilst at the same time being an oasis for the wildlife that struggles to find it’s place in our modern, overcrowded world.

My portfolio of work reflects my love of life. From ethnically inspired prints through wild & cultivated plants, people, places, castles, churches and pubs. If you like snow or beads & bangles, tigers, rocks, shadows that persist when the object that cast them is long gone, prints of land art (commissioned by the National Trust-UK to grace their meadows) then, surely, there is something here for you.
