After the fire #1 by

The Bridgetown bushfires this year fortunately didn’t kill any people although the loss to the wildlife and the bush is almost beyond measure.

As part of the amazing cycle of the Aussie bush however these bushfires also bring extraordinary beauty and in time, will lead to a new generation of life.

I’m guessing that this was taken of one of the tree farms and if so, this is the first time the word ‘stunning’ has come to mind as I look at them.

Very interesting presentation of in-color beauty. Done well.

Beautiful post process work and effect.

  • The post process was only a very minor amount of colour saturation – I predominantly achieve this “look” in camera using techniques I’ve developed over time.

I’m not anti PP’ing work, but in this case there was very little done.
