Bridgetown laneway by Bob Johnson

Bridgetown laneway by

Recently my new hometown of Bridgetown has had some devastating bushfires. After the danger had long passed I went for a a number of drives to acquaint myself with the area.

I particularly loved this little country laneway, driving through partly burnt trees struggling to rekindle life and heading towards the setting sun.

I love the golden light and how it spills upon the red road.

Magical lighting – this image is highly symbolic.

Great capture! I especially like the way the edges of the trees are blurred from the brightness of the sun.
