Thanks, funny how some shots can happen; I was hanging out the washing with my cat wrapped around my legs when I looked up to see if it was going to rain, saw the beautiful cloud, tripped over the cat, ran inside, grabbed my camera focusing on the way and got it :) Cat didn’t think much of it.

This is exqusite, I love it! I don`t know how you got those beautiful blue reflecting dots but I think they are awesome too! I`ve got a cheapy digital camera, when I take sun shots I get RED/Pink spots / things all around they aren`t even round they look like some weird shape. Almost like the inside of a mechanical parts of the camera or a negative of eyeballs or something. That is why I don`t post them. I wish I could do as well! You are great at this! I commend you! Beautiful shot really.

Wow. Starr, if you have any sort of picture manager, whatever came with your computer, just twiddle around. Try all sorts of combinations; that’s how I got this and my other landscapes, etc. Start out with the best focus you can get of what you’re taking and then go from there. Thanks for your lovely messages everyone.

What is there not to love about this image – great composition, lovely cloud formation, great colour and the best title!!! Thank goodness you decided to check out the weather…

And yes, Andrea, it’s amazing what you find in a picture when you bring it up on the screen, that you didn’t see when you took it. Like magic. New world of colours and detail in a sometimes drab day.

Thanks Jenny, it was on account of my washing; three loads to do in the middle of winter. Weighing up – hmm line or garage? Fit more on the line but no point if it’s going to pour. Give me quantum physics any day. Plus you have to fold it. And iron urghhh.

This serves as a picture of inspiration and hope, that despite the clouds, white or gray, the sun remains and will do its best to peak through. Lovely! Michael

What a wonderful analogy! And very apt. I just thought of another one; no matter how many dark, menacing clouds pass over your lifetime, God is ALWAYS there poking through, waiting for you to ask for help, or just to supply his comforting presence to help get you through those times.
