Cropped it.

Opened it in Photoshop (C2), go to Image, Adjustments, Shadow?Highlight. Fiddled with that to get this

Then layered it with this

by going to File, Place.

Then Layer, Layer Style, Blending Options, Opacity down to about 20%.
