Dead right, my husband and I (former schoolyard marbles champions; legends in our own lifetime) are teaching the kids to play and these are the ones we’ve recovered so far. No, our carpet is not bright pink; I just shopped it. Too much testosterone around here, felt like making something pretty.

I don’t know why, but for me light through marbles is like a blazing fireplace or a fishtank – I just stare and get lost in it. very cool image and idea. LOL’d at the title – great.

What lens did you use?

Canon 400D with just the standard 18-55mm lens set on macro; easy :) I do half my shots in macro, even the skyscapes, usually because I forget, or can’t be bothered to manual it. And because it’s produced some of my best ones.
