Raw
I originally named this ‘Heavy Breathing’ because it looked like someone had been, yes, heavy breathing from underneath. But it proved a tad confusing so I have renamed it Raw. Probably as confusing. Never mind, just look at the pretty picture :)

Basia McAuley
This is so cool Cathleen, took me a second to figure out what this was and wow! Great idea to take a shot of something so simple, Looks great.
Cathleen Taraw...
Thanks everyone. Scrambled eggs for tea last night. I just stood there mesmerised by the colour. And the bubbles. So I’m walking through the lounge past everyone with the bowl and camera out to the sunny porch. Don’t think they even blinked.
Maria Dryfhout
Simple… but yet very good!
Bryan Villamin

OK this is a GREAT CAPTURE so VIVID…it is so well done there is a possibility I will get ill if I keep looking at it. I hate eggs…YUCK!!! not that they ever did anything to me…something about their slimy texture, and weird odor…..hhmmnnn I think I am making myself ill…...lol!....Nice work! especially for an eggy person…they will LOVE it!!

Super cool pic. love the bold use of yellow.
billyboy
Cathleen, the fact that you can march through the lounge with your bowl of eggs not caring what anyone is thinking and set up this shot means that people like you are the indispensible perveyors of the art of photography. This is an awesome shot and I hope that some day we will see your take on them cooking… all that liquid turning murky white and bubbling away—a 100mm lens or so should avoid most of the splatter… better use a neutral UV filter just to be sure…
Georgi Bitar
Luvvvv it very nice!!
regina

i see these things every day but i was sitting here staring, trying to figure out what the heck this was.

Gotta love a good googie shot. I was always told eggs on a blue plate was a winner….since I don’t have a blue plate I’ve never shot any eggs….weird, huh? I’m with you on the walking around the house with strange objects and setting same objects up to photograph them in the oddest of places….my daughter has actually taken to bringing things home that caught her eye!! It’s good to see you going forward so fast…..the bubble’s a great place!
jjweston

Thank you to ironchef2008 for buying this as a large framed print! I’ve got a small mounted print of it up on my kitchen wall and it looks so good so yours is going to looking cracking!

I can see a little brown dot near the middle yolk. I always have to dig those out no matter how long it takes before I use the eggs. It’s silly but i always think it’s a miniature chicken!!
and this reminds of the following funny thing I found in the forums written by Firedrake…..
I can only eat eggs if I crack them myself, and remove the stringy white thing attached to the yolk…it’s like the spine of the chicken that never was!! Once I de-spine it (dry retching) it’s OK.
!! :D LOL
Oh… and this is a very striking image!

It really stands out among all the works on Red Bubble and would look really great in a kitchen.
