About me:

I am a creative individual who looks for, and usually finds, beauty and inspiration in every day life. I love to write, and I feel that my personality is portrayed very well in many of my characters. Writing allows me to express myself in new ways, and helps me to discover things about myself that I would otherwise not know.

I also have a deep affection for art and photography, although I was not given the talent (or the fancy camera) to capture those images myself, I mostly admire them from afar.

I love music LOVE music, and I also enjoy reading when I have the time. I definitely gain a lot of inspiration from both. I really enjoy writers that put you right into the middle of the story. Writers like Francesca Lia Block, Ayn Rand, and Nick Bantock have changed my life. And musical inspiration such as V.A.S.T., Widespread Panic, and Smashing Pumpkins, and numerous Christian artists like Casting Crowns, Misty Edwards, and Jesus Culture, always put my mind in a creative mood.

I am also quite an aficionado of interior design and architecture, and could assuredly watch HGTV until my eyes bled. I spend a lot of my time online reading design blogs and saving clippings of beautiful homes in my picture gallery.

I have a great husband, aka jacnthabox, three spoiled rotten (but wonderful, beautiful and intelligent) children, and two (equally spoiled rotten) cats. I have just bought my first home, and I tend to daydream about ways to bring out its glory.

I have a deep desire to learn new things, and I use StumbleUpon to help me find fun things to learn about when I am bored. That is the very reason that I discovered this site, and for that, I am grateful.
