ABOUT ME

• I am an amateur photographer who takes and edits all her own pictures. I have always been passionate about color and composition – my passion began with makeup artistry and interior design, which slowly morphed into graphic design and now I am in love with photography.

WHAT INSPIRES ME

• I am inspired by the random beauty in nature. It was the scene of my photograph Red Flower on Grave in an old cemetery in downtown Charleston, SC that sparked my passion for taking pictures. Sometimes, the moment is just so right and the scene so perfect that it has to be documented.

• Seeing the beauty others have captured inspires me to take better pictures and find even more beautiful subjects. Every single photo I’ve viewed on Redbubble has helped inspire me in some way and pushes me every day to capture the beauty in our world to the best of my ability. There are so many beautiful works of art out there and I am doing all I can to learn from them and appreciate them.

MY CAMERA

• I use a Nikon D3000 D-SLR camera with an 18-55 mm lens.

WHAT’S NEW

• Please check out my newest project, EYES! I am currently working on finding more models for this project and will be uploading more images as soon as possible.

FEATURES AND CHALLENGE NEWS

• On August 8th, 2011, I won a $20 RedBubble voucher for my photo Aqua Vision. I am so incredibly honored.

• I have had a total of THIRTEEN features in EIGHT different groups. I am so honored that my work was chosen. Some of my work has been featured in multiple groups.

• I have had the honor of being named a featured member in Cee’s Fun Nikon Group on July 20th, 2011.

AND FINALLY,

• Critiques and comments are ABSOLUTELY WELCOME and much APPRECIATED. I am serious about photography and I would appreciate any critiques that can help make me a better photographer.
