old friends
are the best
without them there is a hole
left bigger than the rest
the comments
the smiles
the laughter
and joy
one without the other
a life can destroy
melochonic chords
and moments of wondering
fill the soul
with yearning
and concern
a chance moment
a lingering chat
make up for all of that
hang on
to the old times
the old smiles
the connecting
moments
of
old friends
just waiting
to reconnect

You have captured the past so beautifully. This is a photographic record of what soon will no more be visable to they eye. The colour and lighting is just perfect.

That’s what old friends are for. The silo is sticking by his friend, barn even though the barn has seen better days! As I get closer to 40 (fighting and screaming), I appreciate friendship and loyalty more and more.

Thank you Jerame…yes friendship is definitely an “aging thing” like a fine wine waiting to be uncorked!
