eye of the beholder
her spindly petals
sharpened with pain
the passion of purple
entwined with peaceful greens
her aged browns creeping into her heart
she is naught for beauty
looked upon by all
but in the moment of sunlights dancing fingers
she is drawn out
a prize of nature’s beauty
if but once we stop to ponder
of her intricate detail
there is no fail
our Maker traced her well
