this is very nice, I like the idea, but the horizon is really strange. I think the image would win a lot, if you straighten it. You can do that by rotating the image until the horizon is level or, if you like the foreground this way better, you could “straighten” it by using photoshop or similar tool. I really like the image and the writing on it, but it looks a bit like the world is being poured out.

sorry to disagree, but i think Hilary is right,
thank you though!

Beautiful, capture, imagery and scripture. Well done. Very nicely presented

Is that the horizon? or a gently sloping hill in the distance. If you straighten it, then your fore mountain will practically lie down. I don’t think the horizon is visible in this pic because of the mist. Leave it alone, it is wonderful.

thank you Hilary, and i left all of the blank space to the rightt to add to the sense of the going out as said in the scripture

budrfli, I live the background, and the mighty word of God really does fit in well. I like the way you sized the scriptures to just end at the top of the mountain.
Great!!!!

no offense, I commented only because I like it :
))I took the freedom and printed it out and cropped in such a way, that the horizon is level. The image imho looks a whole lot better. The idea of hilarydougill does make sense, although for a hill in a distance the distance is way too far.
If you don’t mind I give it a try in photoshop and upload it somewhere, so you can have a look at it. Could well be that I’m mistaken, since you took the picture, you know if that’s the horizon or a hill ;

PS: I really just want to be of help. I am a member of different sites an I always appreciate helpful comments on my work. And I so often heard myself “Number one rule: straighten that horizon!” :D

Great photo Sandy what a wonderful view, and an interesting comment by Derivatix, “looks a bit like the world is being poured out” Ya think? :-)

In reply to the comment of Derivatix. I looked at the photo’s horizon and it looks to me that if you straighten the photo for the horizen then the brush / trees in the foreground will be slanted way to the right as will the hills. Perhaps what appears to be off level is due to the contour of the earth for some strange reason. I did not take the photo and try anything without asking you first.
