Artist Statement
I’ve created art my entire life for others to enjoy. I always paint places that I would like to be myself and while I can paint realism, I like to leave room for the imagination. I want to inspire a dance between the painting itself and imagination of the person viewing it. I’ve studied Eastern philosophy and Judo from an early age and use the principles of Tao and Zen in my painting. Painting can be a very Spiritual experience. I enjoy being a part of creating something beautiful. I hope my work brings beauty into your life as well. —Buddy
