this is as “good as it gets”!! fabulous flower macro ~ the color & comp is spot on ~ the textures really pop ~ I can almost smell it’s sweet scent ~ did I get any pollen on my nose from going in on a whiff? lol

Richard, thanks so much for your compliment. I’m glad you like the rust colored stamen that happened to come out so crisp and sharp. The petals, themselves, have a great spiked texture, which I reveal on other shots, but this one is exactly for how you saw it ! They are new and prime and haven’t started to fall apart, staining the petals, yet. This is in my garden and each year the lilies turn our differently~they cross pollinate and mutate and we wait to see what we’ll get each season, lol. Some of the petals are spiked as I mentioned and some are smooth. Some are smooth edged and some are wavey. Well enough of my rant. Thanks, very much, Richard. Good luck with your work ;-) buddy
