    in different like or distances they can start to look dark, deep purple or even eventing black @ times.

    This is natural light, no flash but in the last quarter of the day.
    as for the texture, it’s hard with these tulips to get the ‘grain’ of the
    petals to show. Bright light washes it away so it’s finding the right balance
    that will show their texture. These petals have very fine lines~
    if you get the light shining across them, helps reveal them.
