Most people say that’s what they see in it also.

    Thanks, Phil.
I was just playing that night, took a couple dozen shots and ended up with a couple that I liked. This one, was my fav by far, tho. I’d like to shoot another series of flames again soon.
    thanks again, Phil~ peace

    Kelly,
Thanks very much. One thing I’ve learned about this one is that, everyone sees their own thing. I love to hear the feedback and I thank you for your compliment. I just keep shooting and had no idea what I might get. It helped having a slight breeze that night so that the flame wasn’t just rising.

This is one of my more fun pieces. Shot from a torch one evening with a slight breeze.

I also love taking photoes of the fire, admiring forse of life and death. It always has magical property, as if we touch untouchable, frosen unfroseble.

thanks very much. It’s one of my favorite photos.
I shot about 30 that night and only this one was okay for me.
I have some other ideas for the next time I have a fire. This was a close torch on a long thick stick, actually and just enough of a breeze so that the flames weren’t simply rising straight up.
    thanks
    buddy
