    the lighting is natural day light I just edited it to seem like studio darkness.
    And, the focus did turn out clearly.

    I’ve been shooting in natural and studio light but prefer the natural for it’s brilliant and soft qualities.

    I understand. It depends on how harsh the direct sunlight is the time. I usually shoot late in the day.<br />Also, I've started to shoot different things night w/a flash and you automatically get the black background and such deep, rich colors of your subject.
    Give that a try. I discovered it by accident one evening.
