    that’s what I wanted.
    I’ve been shooting several of the tulips in our garden, but I’ve not
    wanted to shoot them wide open. So, you’ll notice that I’ve posted
    many of them, still held together a bit. It takes them about one good take to open all the way, so you have to ‘shop’ each day and try to catch them
    the way that you’d like.

    thanks very much. I always shoot when the sun’s lower in the sky~
    this allowed me to get the sun entering the bloom from the other side; illuminating the petals on this side. It turned out just as I was hoping.

    I’ve been enjoying the hell out of the garden, as you can imagine.
    Wind is the main obstacle.
    The light shining across and inside this one is what I saw and wanted. Another benefit of shooting later in the day.
