Wood Sailboat with Blood Red Sails - Golfe du Morbihan by

A wood sail boat with blood red sails. The sails long ago were soaked in cows blood which gave them their red color and helped them last longer and resist against the salt water.

Picture taken at Port Novalo, Brittany, France.

Thank you for taking the time to view my photos. Please leave a comment to let me know what you think.
You will find a very eclectic array of subjects in my portfolio, from birds to flowers and from still life to action shots. Some of these captures are new, some are old, some are in color, others are in black & white and many different techniques are used. I hope you enjoy my photos and check back often.
