You are a very busy girl, Viv! Love the happy colours of this painting. It is like doing “where is Waldo?” Love the elephants in the left corner and the tight rope bicycle riders on both sides at the top
Hi Susan. Thanks for the comments= for me this is a work in progress= I may change some things but I will definitely keep the elephants!
Hello there i Realy like this. How do you see something like this in your minds eye or do you feel this in your hart as you paint? Do you get the vision of some parts of the picture then feel your way around the rest?I would like to have a go at something like this some time. This ACE as thay used to say in the 70s or cool as of todays Talk
Hi Rastlan. Yes I do sort of feel my way round it as you say! I don’t really always have a clear picture in my mind- its more of a kind of feeling of the circus theme and then I just let myself go in the moment and see what happens. Then things sort of “appear”- like the elephants for instance-then these will suggest the theme of the circus then I may paint something in deliberately – like the striped tent and clown face. It is quite difficult to explain the process exactly as it happens- it is more of a hit and miss thing! It is fun though when the theme begins to reveal itself!
