I think it might do well! I think this is the way to go.
You could add it to the acrylic or oil groups (depends on what medium you used), Groups like: Bright and vivid colors, African Art and photography, etc. The more the merrier, but then a whole lot more people will see your work. Also submit is to challenges where it fits the criteria. That also helps.
I would add in the tag section the following: African, rural, africans, coloreds, South Africa etc etc. I see people who sell a lot tag excessively, adding their names, things like painting, cards.
I absolutely adore your colour usage. Exquisite

That’s a relief, Viv. It was meant as a compliment. I’ve been trying to find the particular painting from the series on the net with no luck. Lets just say the ‘vibe’. I’m pretty sure he used a certain suburb in Melbourne in the ‘50’s as the backdrop. I have early-onset-senior-momentness. I’ll be off to the library as penance.

Far from it! I know there are serious problems, but the minute I hit S.A. I am wonderfully overwhelmed by smiles, positivity and a sense of anything’s possible…. unlike the gloomy negativity rife here in the northern hemisphere! Your painting evokes great memories and really speaks to me!

I am so touched by your response. Here in SA we really worry about our northern neighbours and only hear awful stories on the news. However my son’s girlfriend is Zimbabwean and her parents are still living in Harare= determined to grin and bear it- I take my hat off to them. Will you ever go back one day?
