I consider myself to be an abstract/contemporary artist.I try to capture moments in time and space, from fractions of a second to periods extending over generations, from natural organic environments to industrially manipulated scenes, from micro-worlds to multiple universes. I try to combine these aspects to portray a visual experience that pulls the viewer into the piece and takes them on a journey.

I also like to throw some examples of human faces and forms into the mix. It helps me stay grounded and reels me in from the world of random nonsense to a place where reality reins. Nothing wrong with random nonsense. I like being there but I just need a dose of sanity every now and then.

My prefence is to use pen and ink and print making or the combination of both, but I also like to use a wide variety of media to transform whatever is in my head at the time to an actual image that others can see. Much of my work is experimental. Perhaps I’m still searching for an artistic niche to settle in to but until then, I’m having a ball looking for it. Experimenting is a good thing!
