L. Abbott is a freelance journalist as well as a former English instructor who has worked in both the United States and Great Britain. In addition, she is a self-taught artist and says, “With each painting, I learn something about myself, life, and art.” She recently joined the ranks of cancer survivors, and notes that her experience has given her an insatiable craving for life. Through her art, she seeks to encourage others on the journey.
