Isabel is an artist with a background in design, jewellery, photography and landscape architecture.

Her formative years were spent in contact with nature and art allowing Isabel to explore many aspects of her creativity. Studying art and design in high school at ‘Antonio Arroio School for visual arts’, in Lisbon, allowed for an extensive exploration of the art world and a great opportunity to share ideas with fellow artists.

Isabel’s work is influenced by many aspects of life and by her passion for the built and the natural environment. Personal experiences and emotions are also a great influence on Isabel’s work, using art as means to express mood.

Isabel likes to explore all mediums and her work ranges from acrylics and oils on canvas, to watercolours, sketches, digital painting and photography. Recently Isabel started exploring the world of illustration creating a collection of characters based on her childhood and daily observations of the world around her.

Isabel has participated in numerous group exhibitions showing a variety of her works in Fine Arts, Jewellery and Photography. She also has her work throughout Europe (mostly in the UK, Denmark, France and Portugal) , US, South America, Japan and Australia.
