What I will do is make a copy of your picture and show you what I would have done. My way is NOT the only way. I tend to be very interested in abstract patterns extrapolated into realist art. (Photography, in this case, but in painting also. Uhm . . . Diebenkorn’s early California landscapes or Cezzane’s late work. I was originally a painter until someone stuck a camera in my hands. They were lucky to get away with their hand intact. They lost the camera. My last painting is on here: “Fox River c. 1904”. It was a magazine cover I did years and years ago. http://www.redbubble.com/people/renixon/art/513...)
There are quite a few ways to do any one thing: Ansel Adams and Mapplethorpe both did photography, and excelled at it. They haven’t much in common with each other except they both used a camera with black and white film.
Elvis, Marilyn Manson and Steely Dan made “rock”, but they wouldn’t ever likely be confused with each other.
The gist being; whatever I say needs to be filtered through you, accepted or rejected according to what you wish to say. I believe “art” (whatever your art is) is focused communication based on one or more of the senses. Only you can decide what you need to say.
I talk too much when I haven’t had any sleep.
