Four different approaches by bubblehex08

Posted on January 10, 2010

Hi,
Usually, I don’t write a journal when my work is featured in a group. Some RedBubblers say that they do it to say thanks to the hosts of the concerned groups, but in fact it is a way to show your own work, a shameless self promotion … why not? LOL
So, today I want to exhibit the 4 last examples of my featured work; They are good representations of what is actually of interest for me:
1) MATERA featured in Historic Places
I love taking a lot of photos on my travels. First for me: if I don’t take a picture I forget very soon what I have seen :). Then I like to choose the best to share with those who have not the chance to go and see these great places.

2) BEAUTY IS IN THE MOST ORDINARY THINGS featured in 12 Great Features

The title says it all! I love capturing all sort of things that are not so evident as photo motives. Sometimes I am mocked for my photomania, but I think if I see beauty it is worth taking a picture!

3)FLOATING LIGHTS was featured in Weekly Theme Challenges
and in 4 Winners Only

This picture stands for my growing fascination of night photography, a domain that has always attracted me, but where I never was really satisfied when I took handhold photos. But my camera now has a feature called “image stabilization” and I get better results! Ok, I continue learning, but I’m happy with this picture :)

4) SPARKLE, SPARKLE, LITTLE STAR! featured in Buyers Club
is a good example of my playful approach to photography. I’m not a professional artist and I think I will never be. I’m on RB to have fun and get inspiration. This may consist for example in pouring sparkling water over any object and try to make an appealing photo of it:

Thanks a lot, if you have read to this point!

    felicitations !
