Aglaia I think this photograph has taken me to another place! I’m sorry but you know your photographs have this effect on me! (And I travel in time via a daydream I suppose, is the best way to explain it.) There is such a strong female presents here that I don’t quite understand why this is making me think of a man in a different Century…...So I will share with you his amazing words to illustrate this wonderful emotive photograph!...........Here

  • aglaia b replied

the detail of these grasses here are so incredible, due to the medium format camera!

  • andreasphoto

    andreasphoto

I just can imagine, how perfectly it appears on this fiber based paper instead of a electronic screen

  • aglaia b replied

the details are so amazing, especially in the grasses, the medium format helped with that!

  • andreasphoto

    andreasphoto

ok , I’m already jeleaous. don’t mention medium format ;-)

  • aglaia b replied

ha ha, tis only an old fossil medium format, however it does the job well. do you own one? ;-)

  • andreasphoto

    andreasphoto

As always, I love it. I looked back through your earlier work to find the others. I love this one all on its own…its moody, moody, moody…but I like it even more when I have the other two handy. Any chance you’d put all three at the top of your front page?

The texture, comp, and tones are all just perfect – you’re hugely talented, A.

  • gigglingnewt

    gigglingnewt

love this; there is a kind of ‘awkwardness’ to the models pose. It adds to the feeling that something might skulk out of the mist behind – the tall trees to the right give the mist a substance greater than it actually has…if that makes sense?

    great stuff

  • aglaia b replied

thank you for your wonderful comment, it makes perfect sense.
i am simply giggling at your newt. ;-)
