nude in liquid light
This image was printed using liquid light.
This is a silver-based sensitizer for applying on any surface, exposing by an enlarger, and processing in conventional chemistry. It is virtually the same emulsion found on ordinary photographic paper, but in a liquid form and can allow the emulsion to be coated on a wide range of surfaces.
Here I have applied the liquid light using a brush to scrap metal and once it was dried exposed it with the enlarger. It was then developed, fixed and washed similar to any photographic paper.
The final piece of scrap metal was then stuck onto painted pine to be displayed.
The image you see before you is then a digital photograph of the displayed piece.

Available for sale as Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints and Framed Prints

This is truly a piece of art. As any painter would brush on canvas you have truly spent time and effort in creating something unique and beautiful. The original must be truly something to look at. Amazing work.

JFC!!! This is just such an excellent piece it melts me into a little pool of oozy liquid!
Helen Chierego, 3 months ago
Perhaps you could bottle your ‘liquid light’ and make a fortune-no doubt there would be many takers! lol The technique is impressive BUT that is not all…choice of subject, foreshortenting where the perspective is constructed in a unique way, Just look at her feet in the foreground compared with the size of her head. Great! I thought of Picasso and his women on first sight of this image. The subject caught my eye and then I thought of air bubbles bursting on the surface and leaving their tracings in just the right places.

damn that’s just too cool for words girl! beautiful work. The image and the process were made for each other!

I’m amazed how how much work goes into regular (if one could call it regular) photography…My son used to use a gold process (the only one i remember) and spent hours doing chemical print stuff…but in the end…as your work….just beautiful…he did not stick with his…thankfully you have with yours…lovely work! :>))

Holy _. The tech stuff is fascinating if not yet part of my lingo. I love this for the results of all that and the model and framing. Her look of tired boredom and the distortion of her body are just fantastic…
