love the vintage corset, the location is perfect and so is that rump…I don’t like using the word “bottom” because if you think about it, it is a misnomer…the feet are the bottom…wouldn’t you think? of course, who knows where rump comes from, either?
anyway, this is overall a great composition!

  • aglaia b replied

very funny comment and yes the bottom is at the feet, rump is a great word. should i change the title? LOL
although the word bottom visually looks like a rump! with those two oo’s in there. LOL if you get what i mean!

This looks like a late 1800’s maybe early 1900’s image and the model looks like she is wearing a partly unfastened straight jacket, like her hair style too!

  • FlyingColours

    FlyingColours

Yes Aglaia, a very nice example of your fine work, great use of light and shade, very moody !
The absence of color leaves me breathless, the female form as shown to the casual observer is captured in a manner such that the model looks like a statue of a goddess. I can feel the approach of a train to whisk this godess away to stand in a fine English country garden …...

PK1000’s are the BEST! That’s the same camera I learnt on at art school, and they are such workhorses you could throw it out the window of a speeding car, hit someone, have it bounce down the side of a cliff and land at the bottom with a thud and STILL take brilliant shots :D
And this is no exception! Great work miss xx

  • aglaia b replied

    LOL, you crack me upppppp!
yes i agree, i just love the sound the shutter makes on that camera!
thank you my darling! ;-) xox
