This photograph is dominated by the lighting – creating a feeling of disorientation& loneliness which is very reminiscent of a time gone by! This woman is and knows but is there anyone who cares? Your work is wonderfully thought provoking…I love the purity of your images! I really do!Sx

mychaelalchemy, 2 months ago
love the vintage corset, the location is perfect and so is that rump…I don’t like using the word “bottom” because if you think about it, it is a misnomer…the feet are the bottom…wouldn’t you think? of course, who knows where rump comes from, either?
anyway, this is overall a great composition!
t1nyskert, 2 months ago
this has style…brilliant
Bevsimages, 2 months ago
Great work x Love the b&w images :)
aglaia b in reply to mychaelalchemy’s comment, 2 months ago
very funny comment and yes the bottom is at the feet, rump is a great word. should i change the title? LOL
although the word bottom visually looks like a rump! with those two oo’s in there. LOL if you get what i mean!
aglaia b in reply to t1nyskert’s comment, 2 months ago
thank you!

Jacqueline Baker, 2 months ago
Beautiful body so slender and wonderful skin…love the B&W it lends itself so well to skin tones. The framing is great as is the lighting and the corset is a nice addition….all together a really pleasing image!
Michael Gatch, 2 months ago
Great shot. I love both my K1000s and I love illford black and white film. You have some really great film shots.
karldenton, 2 months ago
Wonderful shot… K1000 was my first camera… geese about 35 years ago! LOL
Nice job and you know they still sell a bundle of those cameras…
aglaia b in reply to karldenton’s comment, 2 months ago
haha, hope you still have got yours.
i just love the feel of it, K1000 that is, and its wicked little shutter and yeah i don’t doubt they still sell them.
thanks for your comment and thanks for visiting, i think you and your work are ace! ;-) xo

monopix, about 1 month ago
This looks like a late 1800’s maybe early 1900’s image and the model looks like she is wearing a partly unfastened straight jacket, like her hair style too!
Yoav-Ari Dudke..., about 1 month ago
all I can say is wow great one.
FlyingColours, about 1 month ago
Yes Aglaia, a very nice example of your fine work, great use of light and shade, very moody !
The absence of color leaves me breathless, the female form as shown to the casual observer is captured in a manner such that the model looks like a statue of a goddess. I can feel the approach of a train to whisk this godess away to stand in a fine English country garden …...

beautiful timelessness treatment

WOW!
Harmony Nicholas, 5 days ago
PK1000’s are the BEST! That’s the same camera I learnt on at art school, and they are such workhorses you could throw it out the window of a speeding car, hit someone, have it bounce down the side of a cliff and land at the bottom with a thud and STILL take brilliant shots :D
And this is no exception! Great work miss xx
aglaia b in reply to Harmony Nicholas’s comment, 5 days ago
LOL, you crack me upppppp!
yes i agree, i just love the sound the shutter makes on that camera!
thank you my darling! ;-) xox
