Liesl, i didn’t think of the egg thing myself, but of course!! They do lay eggs! Well, there are lots of aussies on RB, and they’ve gotta be brighter than me, so I think they’ll dig it and get it! lol
oh i would join you…to see a live platypus born…what a treat… guess what.!! when i was little i saw lizards born live!!!!!! yes, i saw ‘shingleback lizards’......my dad used to catch reptiles and we didn’t know she was pregnant…i’m well known for yelling out very excitedly ‘Born Lizards!!! Born Lizards!!!’.....i was only very young at the time…and sadly I can’t remember…but I’ve always had this special affinity and fondness for lizards, especially the more unusual ones!
Oh! I love lizards!!!! tehy have so much personality! I don’t nkow what a shingleback lizard is though, I would have to google it! How are your kids illustrations coming?

Actually…i have to say in all honesty…I liked the platypus myself and that actually quite a rare thing – to like your own work.

awww….as long as they like it! i always wanted to have an incubater adn hatch a Platypus…how cool would that be!
