I have never seen colored marshmallows. We make rice crispie treats with them. This makes a delicious still life.

  • Hi Lori, we can also purchase mini marshmallows for cooking. They come in yellow and green also. What do you put in your rice crispie treats? Do you know what chocolate crackles are?

We melt the marshmallows with a little butter and stir in Rice Crispy cereal. It is also good with a little peanut butter. It is making me hungry. They make great snacks because they have no fat at all. I haven’t heard of chocolate crackles but they may make chocolate rice crispies.

  • For chocolate crackles you add rice puffs (crispy cereal). cocoa, copha, and icing sugar. Its a very popular kids treat in OZ. You could also add marshmallows and glaced cherries as an extra. If you want i can bubble mail you the recipe. I have never made what you said.

I saw several recipes when I did a search on Google. My grandson loves cherries. I will have to try one of the recipies with cherries. If you have that one, I would love to have it.

  • I will bubblemail you with a recipe. Hope we can swap recipes.
Have a look at this recipe of mine also. I created it.
