Artist's Description

Close-up of the hood in the previous shot.

Okay, to start off, this car is already one of the coolest cars on the road; a Cobra. Throw in a 358 Yates motor (never heard of it, but the speedo claims 180 mph). Then top it off with what is absolutely the most awesome flame paint job I have ever seen. I had to get a towel out of my van to wipe up the drool.

Shot at the first annual Hybrids 2 Hotrods show, co-sponsored and hosted by the Mercury News in San Jose, California. If this was their first show, I can’t wait until next year.

Everything a car guy or gal could want; from 1920s models up to the latest in hybrid technology. Hotrods, racers, classics, rare, obscure (when is the last time you saw a Tatra? At least in this country.) Full electrics, hybrids and damn near anything you can think of in internal combustion; full blown, turbo charged. Even one of the smallest street legal cars in the world, a Trident Peel from the Isle of Man (Google it). Customs, daily drivers and trailer queens; they were all here.
