Out with a couple of friends one night while stationed in Germany, just driving around looking for something to shoot, we came across this chemical plant north of Heidelberg. The lghts caught our attention and we whipped into the parking lot to get a few shots. I don’t remember if I used my Nikon F2AS or Mamiya 645 for this shot, but I had a star filter on the lens.
Just after we got a few shots, security came along and chased us off. We really wanted to get inside to do some more shooting, but at least I got this one. Scanned from the original print.
Okay, the old brain cells are functioning a little better this morning after sucking down some caffeine. This plant is in Ludwigshaven, northwest of Heidelberg, close to Mannheim. Couldn’t remember the name of the town when I posted this last night.
