While in Brazil, we rode the steam train from Sao Joao Del Rei to Tiradentes. At the station in Tiradentes are several horse-drawn taxis that will take you to the central plaza downtown. Personally, I preferred the Betty Boop taxi over Hello Kitty, but didn’t ride in either. My son-in-law drove to Tiradentes to pick us up and take us into town.

I’ll shoot anything that catches my eye, but I love it when somebody says “I never looked at it that way before” or even just a little “ooooh”. If I can make you stop and say “hmm”, that’s the best. I normally use minimal processing; a little bump in color and/or contrast, maybe a little cropping. But sometimes I just can’t resist the urge to play with an image.

Hello Kitty? A Japanese character meets a Brazilian taxi? Interesting :p

  • Actually, there were several of these Hello Kitty taxis, but I only saw one Betty Boop taxi. Maybe I’ll post that one too when I get to it.
