This is the grave of P Dible, located in the forests of Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana. When he died, the only thing he owned was his clothing and this bed that he will forever sleep in. You can read the history of this gravesite here: http://files.usgwarchives.net/la/winn/history/d...

This is spooky. Although I haven’t read the story of P Dible in your link, just looking at this image tells me he must have been loved or respected to deserve a fitting grave and more importantly, a visited grave site (flowers placed in memory). Thank you for sharing this image. Haunting.

  • I am glad you like it. It is said he lived into his 70’s although no one knew exactly how old he was, including himself. I wish I could of found more information on him

yeah very creepy….was this acutally in a cemetery in the forest, or just one simple grave out in the middle of a forest ?
buried where he died sorta deal.

  • I was lead to believe there were supposed to be more graves in the area, but this is the only one that actually hasn’t sunk and is visible. It is in the forest.
