Shine Again
Written for a friend after his mother passed away.

and the moon rises
the light from both illuminate your face
when everything has gone dark
I’ll be there, to hold your hand
and to hold your heart
to keep a steady beat
to keep control
today it might be raining
and I know your heart feels pain
but tomorrow and before you know it
the clouds will clear
and the sun will shine again
