It is a long running tradition that farmers hang foxes on fences as to display their “prize”.
This practice may cause controversy amongst some.
I hope this image does not. Taken in Geelong, Victoria.

Very powerful image Bree. Although foxes are very beautiful, in my opinion, they really are vermin and need to be eradicated.

  • Thanks Di! I really appreciate the comment :)

Well taken Bree, being an old farmer, I hope you were up wind of these as they do have a bad smell

  • Many thanks Greame, yes they were a bit on the nose, and there were rats or mice lurking around also.
But I was pretty keen to get this shot :)

B&W works well with this grim image – around here, it was always moles that were hung on the fences

  • Yes it is a grim scene, many thanks Aggpup for your comments, much appreciated :)
