Acrylic on canvas 16×20″

Painted for a guitar-playing friend of mine who wanted a ridiculously ostentatious portrait of himself for his music studio.

Before I even reached your description I thought to myself that this looks like a bit of satire. Beautifully and skillfully done Bryan.

  • Thanks Jim! My musician friend Phil wanted an ostentatious portrait of himself (plus dog Byron) for his music studio. I immediately thought of the many old master lute player portraits and settled on Tournier :)

Featured already? Not surprising really. This one looks fabulous and wouldn’t look out of place on the cover of an Historical novel, Bryan ;)

  • Thanks April! Hysterical novel perhaps, haha :)
