Taken during our recent sojourn to Port Macquarie.
We drove up to Trial Bay Gaol via the scenic route as the Pacific Highway was bumper to bumper for miles just south of Kempsey. On the way back I decided to take a detour down a nice dirt road with huge potholes and lots of corrugations. This nice dirt road led to the vehicle ferry at Settlement Point. We paid the toll troll the requisite $3.00 and crossed the river.
Just after leaving the ferry we came to a bridge and I saw this. We drove on for a bit more before I decided that I really had to take this shot. I think it was worth going back and I hope you do so as well.
HDR, 3 photos, tonemapped then a further slight adjust in PS.
