On the underside of the balcony the beams are actually tree logs and when you look closely at some of them you can see where the branches were cut off.
I wanted to take some photos of this building at night but I got very, very sick while we were in Shiraz and couldn’t get around to it. This and a few other daylight shots were all I had time for.
The black paint grafitti in the left of the image is an advertisement for a Brick Manufacturer! And it also has their phone number, according to my interpreter and lovely wife. :-))
