What a sight! Well captured and composed. How did your camera manage in the dust?

Thanks for your comment. My camera still seems to be working ok. Funny thing is, as it was very hot here the day before, we had our windows open during the night and our whole apartment was covered in a very fine layer of red dust, so the camera will be no worse for the exposure outside. Only time will tell if it has any effect on the internals of the camera. I hope not but if it does then that might be a good enough reason to upgrade to a 50D or even a 5D! I’d have to convince the Director of Finances first tho’. ;-))

Thanks Di, yes, no vineyards in sight, except, mebbe they are part of the dust storm! It did start in SA and there are vineyards in the Barossa Valley….soooooo, why on earth did you reject my photo? It makes no sense to me! ;-)) LOL. Only joking of course. it was an error and I shall mend my evil ways. Thanks and all the best,
