Like the wash from the water taxi. Nice one.
Bryan Freeman replied
Thanks Drec, the red light from the dust reflected off everything.
Elana Bailey
This came across from our desert in South Australia and look what it did to your Opera House. Apologies but it made for a cracking shot. Well done and I hope that it wasn’t too difficult to breathe today. An instant fave.
Bryan Freeman replied
Thanks Elana, appreciate your comments and the fav.
It was difficult walking up hills and tasting the dust, and knowing that I’d “pay” for it later. However, I think it was worth it as I got lots of great shots, these are but a few.
JennyMac
Cool shot! Hope your camera didn’t get any dust in it!! : )
Bryan Freeman replied
Thanks Jenny. I hope my camera didn’t get any dust in it too. I’ll pull it apart on the weekend when I’m positive al the dust has gone, just to make sure.

James Iles
It looks so beautiful, but I’m glad I’m not over there in the dust storm.
Bryan Freeman replied
Thanks James, appreciated. The dust storm lasted probably 12 hours in total then was blown out to sea by strong winds. It was amazing to see the blue sky again after being in an orange/red glow for so long.
inglesina
