I love the detail you got, and I love the angle it’s coming from, ne thing I like especially though is the coloring. The black with the speckled red of roses…and how it just goes one for miles it seems. I really do lovethis shot. :)
Bryan Freeman replied
Hi unibell, Thank you for your comment. The flowers do look like roses however, if you were able to see them close up (which you can’t do here) you’d be able to see they are actually red poppies. Once again, I thank you for your comment and look forward to viewing your art on the weekend. Kind regards, Bryan
Kklove
Such a great shot
Bryan Freeman replied
Thank you Kklove
plummet02
Love the angle…....almost looks like its a walkway even though its a wall…....love the dramatic red!great shot!
Bryan Freeman
Thanks for your comment plummet02. THere is another photo in my portfolio that shows the side opposite this wall hoever, it shows the arches that are to the left of “the fallen”, if that makes any sense. I’m not sure that it does. Anyway, if you look at the War memorial with the dome in the middle, taken from outside in both b&w and colour, you’ll see there are two walls that have the names of the fallen on them. The names are behind the arches and it is actually a walkway. I hope all that makes some kind of sense, but thank you again for your comment, much appreciated.
unibell184
You’re right, they are poppies. lol My bad. haha

Beautiful & sad mixed together.
Bryan Freeman replied
Hi Jade,
Thank you for your comment. Yes, war is sad.
Robin de Blanche
It’s hard to say that this is beautiful, it goes against the actual word itself with the history of the photograph. Composition-wise this is a phenomenal composition, so sad that we’re so cruel that these things exists.
Awesome shot!
Bryan Freeman
Thanks Robin
Gareth Rowlands
