Yes, thank you. It was a time when every one was needing uplifting with all the terrible things were going on. I was a young lad of six at the start of the war and seven when the Blitz began. We were living in London at the time and my father had just died. A really frightening time.

Thank you. This was my first visit to this lovely spot. We went to see the Battle of Britain Memorial that is nearby ahd looked around the area.
