DEATH

His face grey and drawn out,
His lips and nostrils blue,
Saliva dripping from the corners of his mouth,
His eyes rolling in their sockets,
Hands on the gaping hole in his chest,
Blood seeping through his broken fingers,
Crying for his loved ones,
Coughing and spluttering as he vomits blood,
His last sigh as he leaves this life behind,
On the blood soaked battlefield.
