Maybe one day a "Sense of Proportion’ group will also be established …

There is still a majority of Americans who actually are clear thinking and clued up about the true state of things, MDC … something to be thankful for, even if fundamental changes for the better still seem to be ever harder to achieve.
And there is a simple explanation for the increasing levels of ‘derangement’ now becoming evident. More and more people are slowly becoming aware of the seriousness of their absolute betrayal by the totally corrupted (and basically corporate run) mainstream American political system.
Tragically, some of them, with the too willing help of Fox News and others, have had this growing sense of betrayal channelled into the pursuit of some increasingly perverse positions and activities … that are now more reminiscent of a ‘grotesque black comedy’. (One not all that far removed from the dark ‘comedies’ being played out weekly in Washington itself.)
On the bright side, there are in reality many Americas, and in the Pacific Northwest (at the very least) the thinking is still predominantly sane and clearheaded with good community values always highly evident. Life goes on and Washington can thankfully seem a long way away, on a day to day basis.
Light and dark, as always battling each other for supremacy.
