    Mt St Helens? I remember seeing this when travelling from Vancouver to California some years ago. An iconic landmark.

    Very close Matt. Mt St Helens looked similar until it blew the top of its peak off. This is the next mountain to the south along the Cascade Range – equally volcanic Mt Hood. Both mountains are clearly viewed from Portland on a sunny day. Mt Hood lies to the east of the city and Mt St Helens slightly north-east
