Roots
Three beech trees perched on the edge of the Avebury stone circle like old friends. Their shallow roots are knitted together in a union of mutual support.

Hello Friend, Thats really sweet! Black and White. I would like to capture like this, can you tell me how, or tell me what to read. I am learning from inspirational talent. I haven’t shoot B & W in a while. Your shot, seems to be mystical. Does your heart stop, when you find a shot like this?
Thanks for sharing your expression, and reminding about B & W. Darrell

I can’t remember that I’ve seen any roots like the ones in your picture before.
They remind me a little of the tree of life which is featured in the movie
“The Fountain”.
Sublime!

Hi Bruce
Just seen your comment – so pleased you had a great time in Northumberland – can’t wait to see your images – it’s a great place isn’t it – one of Englands best kept secrets – you come up during the winter even less people. All of my shots of the beach are either Low Newton (the one by Dunstanburgh) or Bamburgh. Anyway get through your work asap and look forward to seeing your work.

I have been to this spot about three times in the five years that I have lived in the UK and I have to say that it is my absolute favourite spot . These trees are worth the visit to Avebury alone- never mind the stones. Great shot.
