Ode to a Snorer
Snoring
Snoring , the thing that no one ever does.
But who is this sound from then?
Snoring, can’t you stop, roll over please!
I am not snoring, leave me alone!
Snoring, a medical condition, floppy tonsils
Open mouth wood chipper
Snoring, the cause of many sleep interrupts
With many elbows and knees to the back
Snoring, oh how I hate it
I am glad I don’t
Snoring, I never thought these words, from me
I miss it so
Snoring, I never thought my ears would want
To hear that horrid song again
Snoring, though never admitted always denied
But now you are not there, alone am I
Snoring, such an unappreciated torment
Now I have no one to touch in darkness
Or to be touched by, long before the dawn
No one to say
Stop SNORING!!!!!
My nights are to filled with quiet.
An aside
To whoever may read, a word of advice
The things you may dread
May break your heart when gone.
So love that retched sound
Love that that sharp elbow
Be glad when the sun shines
You are not alone

Oh….snoring ….oh tell me about it….
Oh yes you have!
One can have an operation and end up sounding like a poor imitation of Darth Vader with asthma!
A witty reminder about the little annoyances that become the fond memories of life…. ;)
Thank you
